Dr P.K. Mohanlal, S/o Ayurveda Acharya K.Kujuraman Vaidyan completed BAM and pursued MD in Salyatantra (MD) from Govt.Ayurveda College Trivandrum. He worked as the principal of Govt. Ayurveda Colleges Kannur & Trivandrum for 5 years and retired as the first Director of Ayurveda Medical education in 2001 and having more than 32 years of teaching and clinical experience in Govt.Ayurveda Medical Colleges and Hospitals. He guided more than 120 post graduation thesis works. Formerly he served as member of various committees and councils under Govt. Of India and Govt. Of Kerala. Govt. Of Kerala awarded the best Ayurveda doctor, Dhanwanthari in 2008, Agastya Puraskara in 2018 Bharath Bhavan, Govt. Of Kerala and honoured by Sree Sankaracharya Sanskrit University Kalady in 2019 September for the contribution to Ayurveda as the Sanskrit study. For propagating ayurveda he wrote best seller books in Ayurveda including കേരളത്തിലെ ആയുർവേദ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം , പാഠശാലയിൽ നിന്നു സർവ്വകലാശാലയിലേക്ക് , ചില ചികിത്സ അനുഭവങ്ങൾ , ആയുർവേദത്തിൻ്റെ സമഗ്രവീക്ഷണം , അടിസ്ഥാന സിദ്ധാന്തങ്ങൾ.
